Tracing Cards

I'm a huge fan of Lake Shore Learning.  They have such amazing things for kids development.

I found these Tracing Cards and Stencils while I was Christmas Shopping, I loved them, but I have a hard time parting with $$$ for somethings I know I can easily make.  Well, 5 months later, I finally get around to making a set (One less thing on my to do list!)

For a few weeks I saved cardboard from some of our food containers...

Then, one night while at Archivers, I used their "wall o' die cuts" to create a set of tracing cards/stencils  for Peepers.

 Tracing Shapes
 Tracing Numbers with Shapes
 Tracing Letters
Some didn't turn out so great...
 But they are still fun!

Thank you, Karla

A few more letters

Hi - this weekend I finished off just a few more letters from this project.
So that I will be able to spell out
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDERS"

Christmas present for Peepers

HI All,

I've been working on these quilted letters for some time now as a Christmas present for Peepers.

The cutting was the hardest part since you need to cut 3 layers for each letter. I also made more letters so he would some day (hopefully) play with these to practice reading & spelling.

I made 2 of every vowel & 2 of R, S, T & L, 3 N's & 4 E's so he could spell out his first, middle & last name.

The link for the pattern and tutorial is from Jessica at Oh So Happy Together if you are interested in making a set for your young ones.

Have a great day!

Karla
