Generation Photography

Hi, this weekend we went to visit my Father-in-laws & took the following photos.

I've been wanting to do this for a few reasons, but the most important one is that I want to have a 3 generation photo of my husband, has Dad & Peepers.

I'm still learning to edit in photo shop, So I think the colors are a bit too bright, but overall, am pleased with the content of the photos. I especially like the one of Anders touching Grandpa's moustache.

Guest Photographer Posting - Lightening Storm

Hi All,

We had a terrible storm here Saturday night. After it passed, my husband went outside & took photos of the lightening storm overhead. It took him a while to figure out what camera setting of our "point & shoot" camera worked best - but he was able to capture these cool photos.

OHG! I cannot tell you how much I learned at my Photography class on Saturday.

I actually know what an F stop is & how to set it & when it should be at what setting. Thank you Kari. http://www.karilaylandphotography.com/ I will post some photos from the class once I play with them in Photoshop.

And, Thank you Mom & Dad for babysitting :)

past & upcoming events

Hi All,

just a quick note on what I've been doing...

I have had 2 photo shoots - will try to post photos from them soon. I have to admit they turned out pretty great.

I got a new lens (or glass, as they call in the biz)

This weeknd, I have a photography class coming up - I am super excited - we will get a lot of practice, fun tips & a photoshop work session.

And, I have some potential photo sessions on deck. a) expecting belly photos, b) new born photos & c) yearly birthday photos for 2 boys.

Down on the farm

On the 4th of July we went to visit my sister & her hurband. We also stopped by to see Bob & Jackie (my brother in laws parents). They have a circular drive with a flower bed in the center showcasing an antique rake. Here are my latest photos of Peepers.
